If I work on the same projects and tasks for several weeks at a time, is there a way to populate my current timesheet with last week's entries?
Yes. In the latest version of Journyx Timesheet a new feature was added for populating current timesheets with the previous period's saved entries. These entries appear under the Memorized section of an employee's timesheet. Employees can turn on this feature by going to Preferences → Entry Screens, checking the Suggest current entries based on the entries from up to ___ period(s) back (max. 4) option and clicking save. Employees also have the option to pull in more than one of the previous periods (for example: when they took vacation the previous week). This setting can include up to 4 previous periods.
Timesheet Administrators have the option to enable or disable this feature for the entire system. The setting can be accessed under Configuration → System Settings → Entry Sheets. When an administrator disables this setting, employees will not see the related setting under Preferences.
Is there anything I can do to reduce the number of email notices my managers receive each day for employees who are late submitting timesheets for approval?
Yes. In the most recent release of Timesheet there is a new setting under Configuration → System Settings → Approval Plans that allows Administrators to combine all late notices sent to approvers and backup approvers into a single daily log email. The "Compile all backup and approver late notices into a single email" setting combines late notices for each individual employee into a single daily email that contains all of the information.
