How can I view a report without seeing all the negative correction records split out separately?
When employees make changes to timesheets that are submitted and subsequently rejected, corrective records are created to offset the original record. As a result, the originally submitted records are preserved for auditing purposes.
Employees do not see these corrective records because they are combined to display the final resulting total on timesheets. However, you have the ability to choose whether or not to view the corrective records in reports.
Near the foot of the Report Modification Screen in the Item Reporting Choices table there is a setting called "Combine Similar Records into a Single Row?". If this is set to no, you will see both original and corrective (possibly negative) records for the sheets. If this is set to yes, the original and corrective records will be combined to give you the final total for the line item.
Is it possible to send email notifications to employees that include a hyperlink directly to the timesheet that is the subject of the notification?
It is indeed possible to include a hyperlink that upon login takes the employee directly to the period in question. You can customize all email notification text by selecting an existing approval template for modification and clicking on the Approval Email Settings link at the top of the template. In the text of the message you include one of two Journyx Tags: <link> or <link=customlink>. Both of these tags insert a clickable link to the sheet in question. The second tag is used for HTML email.
