Support Ending Journyx Timesheet 4.6m2

 

Effective Friday, February 10th, 2006, Journyx will no longer offer maintenance contract renewals for Timesheet 4.6x. Customers with maintenance contracts for Timesheet 4.6 purchased before this date will continue to receive full Timesheet support until the end of their contract period. After the customer's maintenance contract expires, support for the Timesheet 4.6 installation will not be available.

After this date the remaining supported releases will include:

  • Timesheet 7.0
  • Timesheet 5.6m2
  • Timesheet 5.5.2m1
  • Timesheet 5.5m1
  • Timesheet 5.0m3

Why Is Journyx Doing This?

Journyx stops supporting previous versions of its products from time to time in order to guarantee that overall support of its product suite is of the highest caliber. Where bugs are found, Journyx puts significant effort into adding improvements and patches to the existing releases instead of publishing a new version. However, new versions introduce new functionality that improves the performance of the product as a whole.

Can I Upgrade?

Absolutely. In fact, we heartily encourage you to upgrade to our latest and greatest release, Timesheet 7.0 This version of Timesheet has been widely tested in customer production environments and is a stable and robust product that sets new standards in the project time and expense tracking market.

From its redesigned user interface to its support for supervisor-reviewable leave requests, we think you'll find Timesheet 7.0 is more than a worthy successor to the Timesheet that has served you so well all these years.
