How do I remove open timesheets prior to inactivating a user?

When you are making a user inactive, Journyx recommends a process to follow to ensure that they are truly inactivated without any repercussions later on. Timesheet will not allow you to inactivate anyone with open sheets. Below is a quick way to remove any open timesheets that do not need to be submitted or approved. Go into Management → Users → Records Management → User Sheet Deletion

Select a date range that would catch any open timesheets, select the user, select the sheet type, and select "open" as the status. Select any open timesheets and delete them. Performing this process makes the actual inactivation process much easier.

What is the best time to schedule reports?

When scheduling reports, especially large reports, your Timesheet installation would deeply appreciate if you can schedule the report to run in the middle of the night. Doing so will reduce demand on your system, leaving your Timesheet server's processing power available for handling incoming record creation and other activity. Better still, your report will be waiting for you when you start your day.

If you have a large report that you can't wait until tomorrow to view, consider configuring the report to Save Report Output Only (don't show in browser). With this option enabled, the report will run without displaying, reducing the demand on Timesheet. The report will appear in your Saved Reports tab quickly where you can select it for viewing.
