How do I know if I'm running the most current versions of Journyx products?
The most current version of Journyx Timesheet, as well as the most current versions of maintenance patches for older supported versions, are always available for download on the Journyx website. Journyx Timesheet Online is always run on the most current version - provided the customer approves each upgrade. The most current version of Timesheet/Timesheet Online is 7.6m1.
The most current version of Journyx Accountlink, the Timesheet integration for QuickBooks, is 7.20. You must be running Accountlink 7.20 or later to ensure support for QuickBooks 2009/Enterprise 9/Online.
The most current version of Journyx Projectlink, the Timesheet integration for MS Project and Project Server, is 4.02. You must be running Projectlink 4.02 for proper support of enterprise fields in MS Project Server 2007.
All current versions of Journyx products are posted on the website. The "Update This Installation" link in all versions of Timesheet will take you to the main support page where you can search for available upgrades. When new versions become available, notice is sent in the Journyx Monthly Newsletter via email.
Does Journyx support upgrade of its products that are running on third party hardware and databases that are no longer supported by the manufacturers?
No. As a rule, Journyx products are tested on the supported platforms listed on this page.
The hardware and database version numbers will vary, however, depending upon when each product version was tested and released. If a manufacturer has dropped support for a particular OS or database version, future product versions released by Journyx will not be supported on said platforms. Likewise, if a hardware manufacturer releases a new version while a new Journyx product is being tested, the new Journyx product may not include support for the new hardware version immediately upon release. When in doubt about hardware version support, please check with Journyx Support.
