How can I change the order of the rows on my timesheet?
There are multiple sorting options on time, expense and mileage entry screens. You can sort by any column on your entry screen by clicking on the column name. By default, entry screens sort by the first column ("Project") on the left side of the screen, then by date. If you select one of the other columns for sorting, it will sort by the selected column, then the first column, then by date. When you select a column for sorting, an arrow will appear next to the column name that also give you the option to sort in ascending or descending order. Sort order applies to existing entries and memorized entries, but each are sorted separately.
How can I view, search for and select projects on my timesheet that are included in a complex hierarchy?
There are a number of ways to view projects in their positions in the hierarchy both before and after selection for time entry. The tree link or icon next to the first ("Project") column dropdown provides a pop-up window with an expandable/collapsible hierarchy view that allows you to drill down to different levels to search for projects. The search link or icon allows you to search based on partial project name or description. There is also an option to display the hierarchy for dynamic selection in the dropdown menu itself. After you have selected a project and created a time entry for it, you can review where it is located in the hierarchy by clicking on the project name in the time entry row. Clicking on the name displays the "bread crumb trail" of projects that are above the selected project in the time entry.
