Import/Export Tools

Journyx understands that its customers need to integrate data from Timesheet with other applications, and vice versa. Therefore, Journyx has developed a standard toolset to handle just about any data exchange that starts or ends with Timesheet - the Import/Export Tools. These tools have been designed to allow you to: export data to other applications, including project management systems; import data from HR and accounting suites; and create custom reports.

The optional Import/Export Tools snap into your Timesheet installation easily. They are accessible from within the Timesheet web interface, and behave exactly like the other Timesheet features.

What The Tools Do

With the full set of Import/Export Tools, you can administer Timesheet using import files. When used in conjunction with exported System Reports, it is possible to administer Timesheet using your other applications. Some basic configuration still must be done within Timesheet, including renaming entry columns, modifying look & feel, and defining entry screens. But the ongoing work of administering Timesheet can be performed externally with HR and project management applications.

You can purchase the User imports (users, accruals, memorized time records, groups, and group membership), or you can purchase the Project import (projects, the 9 entry columns, dependencies, groups, and group memberships), or you can buy the entire Import/Export Tools suite.
