Newest version again raises the bar for Journyx Timesheet
AUSTIN, Texas, USA, June 5, 2002 — Journyx today announced general availability of version 5.0 of its market leading Journyx TimesheetTM product. The release enables Journyx to continue delivering robust web-based software solutions which bridge the gap between Project Management, Payroll and Accounting applications to provide an immediate return on investment for its customers. Journyx Timesheet 5.0 has been designed to provide companies with fast ROIs and a competitive advantage by automating those business processes which involve their most expensive and valuable asset - people. Key new features include:
- Project & Client Approvals — Version 5.0 reaches beyond the traditional concept of choosing either project-leader time and expense approvals, or HR manager time and expense approvals, by being the first offering on the market to offer both at the same time. The new set of features for projects and/or cost centers permits approval and notification processes that can be configured to adhere to even the most complex organizational requirements.
- Expanded Internal Reporting Engine — With Version 5.0, Journyx is introducing its new multi-dimensional Internal Reporting Engine allowing an even greater degree of real-time business analysis, as compared to previous versions. This fully-integrated Cube Reporting feature enables dynamic drilling down, summarization, and data manipulation capability to provide multi-dimensional graphical analysis of the true costs of running the 21st century enterprise.
- Enhanced User & Project Management Interface — Improved navigation and customization of key User and Admin areas throughout Version 5.0 provide organizations more convenient and efficient management of work-related activities and complex hierarchical project structures.
