Management Team

Journyx is led by a team of internet industry veterans with extensive knowledge in workforce management.

Curt Finch
Founder and CEO
Curt Finch has 19 years of software development and distributed workforce management experience. In 1997, Curt created the world's first internet-based timesheet application and the foundation for the current Journyx product offering. Curt has managed development teams creating enterprise-level software solutions since 1985. His involvement with distributed workforce management began in 1988 when he served as a consultant for Pencom, a large staffing company. In 1992, Finch led the team porting Tivoli's product line to the AIX operating system, which led to the company's acquisition by IBM. As a member of the executive team, Curt helped launch TKG, a venture-backed firm that grew to 50 employees and $7.5 million in sales by the time he left. Curt has a B.S. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.

John Maddalozzo
Vice President of Engineering
John Maddalozzo has 22 years of software development and technical management experience, including twelve years in IBM AIX kernel development. He has over 25 patents pending or awarded. John manages the Journyx Development, Information Technology and ASP operations groups and has been with Journyx since 1999. John has a B.S in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.

Phil Hagemeier
Vice President of Sales
Phil Hagemeier has more than 20 years of sales experience, including 12 years as part of the management staff at PlanView, Inc. During his tenure at PlanView he helped to increase revenue exponentially. Phil also played a key role in international sales expansion at PlanView by negotiating and closing the first sales with clients in Europe, Australia, and Africa. Phil has a B.A. in Business Administration from Sam Houston State University.

Meredith Zachritz
Director of Product Management
Meredith Zachritz has served as Director of Product Management for Journyx since 2001. She has over 10 years of product marketing and management experience in small and mid-sized entrepreneurial ventures in the financial services and software industries. Prior to joining Journyx, Meredith helped SupportKids.com obtain its $5 million first round of venture funding and built their marketing department from the ground up by conducting market research and defining product features and strategy. In 1998, Meredith graduated with honors from the University of Texas MBA program with a concentration in technology/product marketing.

James Brawner
Director of Marketing
James Brawner has over 17 years of experience in selling and marketing technology-based products to a wide range of businesses in all major global markets. He has held senior positions with companies ranging from start-ups to Inc 500-class companies. His previous responsibilities include managing the global go-to-market strategy for a $40M data integration software firm, taking a start-up software company to 40% growth rate per year and helping to launch two successful international sourcing companies. James has a B.S. in Physics with a minor in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
